All-State Selections!
Washington Township High School Places Two Students on Prestigious All-State Chorus Ensembles
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – This past weekend, two members of the Washington Township High School Choir program were accepted into this year’s New Jersey All-State Choruses. Out of the hundreds of students who auditioned, sophomore Dan Hillig was accepted into the All-State Mixed Chorus, and junior Kathryn Kim was accepted into the All-State Treble Chorus.
Both students will begin working on a challenging program that will be performed with peers from around the state in upcoming virtual and live concerts during the 2021-22 school year.
“After All-State was cancelled last year, we are so thankful students are able to have these experiences once again,” WTHS Choral Director Joseph Zachowski said. “We are so proud of Dan and Kathryn and can’t wait to hear their performances!”
