WTHS Dance Department to Host 16th Annual Dance Concert on April 11th
How do you measure a year? Members of the Washington Township High School Dance Department and Dance Company will explore the many holidays, milestones and daily life events that we experience together over 365 days during “365,” the program’s 16th Annual Dance Concert, on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at 7 p.m. in the school’s Investors Bank Performing Arts Center (IBPAC).
Poster and t-shirt design for the event was created by WTHS junior Kyle Schumacher.
Videos created by the school’s Monthly Rewind Program will accompany many of the performances from the cast of more than 200 talented dancers. The concert will showcase the versatility of the dancers and will incorporate many styles including traditional techniques like ballet, pointe, modern and tap to contemporary hip hop, belly dancing and Afro-Caribbean.
Reserved seating is required. Advance tickets are $5, $10 and $15 can be purchased through the IBPAC Box Office at 856-218-8902. Box office hours are Monday through Friday (2:30 -6:30 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m.- 2 p.m.).
