Chalking One Up for Respect
Wedgwood Elementary School Staff “Chalks it Up” on the Sidewalk to Honor the Week of Respect
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Wedgwood Elementary School teachers were outside the school grounds before the students arrived on Monday, October 1, using sidewalk chalk to write inspiring messages for students to see as they entered the school building. The “Chalk It Up” activity was planned and organized by school counselor Kristi White to help kick off the New Jersey Week of Respect (October 1-5, 2018).
In the photo above, Wedgwood teachers (left to right) Maryann Garten (grade 4), Kristi White (school counselor), Domenick Renzi (math specialist) and Jan Sanders (special education) show off their message to all – “Be a friend!”
