WTHS Dance Concert “2020 Vision” to be Rescheduled
The Washington Township High School Dance Concert “2020 Vision,” originally scheduled for April 9, 2020, has been postponed because of school closures forced the COVID-19 outbreak, District supervisor of visual and perform arts Casey Corigliano announced.
“The details of the concert will depend on when a return date to school is established,” Corigliano said, “but rest assured we are committed to making it happen.”
Reservations for patrons who have already purchased tickets will be rescheduled for the new date, with the same seat selection. Should the new performance date present a conflict, patrons will receive a full refund. Should the concert be cancelled completely, all patrons will be refunded the cost of their tickets.
“Prior to the closure of school, an apparel order for the concert was collected,” Corigliano said. “This order has been suspended pending a new concert date. Our hope is to include the rescheduled date on the apparel upon our return. Any necessary refunds will be processed upon our return to school.”
The Dance Production concert with the full dance department also has been postponed and will be rescheduled, if possible.
“We are grateful for our committed Dance teachers, Eisa Jackson and Christina Richardson, who continue to review choreography and provide remote instruction during this difficult period,” Corigliano said. “Our Dance Concert always is among the most anticipated and well-attended events at WTHS, and we remain hopeful that we will still be able to stage it and showcase our incredibly talents dancers.”
