WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Seven Washington Township High School students recently were honored by being accepted into the New Jersey All-State Choruses for the 2025-26 school year. The WTHS voices auditioned against fellow high school students from across the state.

Riley Holmes, Haylie Strafella, Presley Terch, and Joseph Watson will perform in the All-State Mixed Chorus in November 2025 during the New Jersey Education Association teachers’ convention in Atlantic City. Courtney Waddington, Alicia Fallon, and Sofia Rohanna will perform in the All-State Treble Chorus in February 2026 during the New Jersey Music Educators Association conference in Atlantic City. Both groups will have a second performance at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.

A special recognition went out to Alicia Fallon, who ranked No. 2 Soprano 1 in the entire state.

“It is always an honor to see our students not only auditioning for Region and State Music Ensembles, but also for so many of our students to be accepted,” WTHS Choir Director Amy Flynn said. “It creates a deep sense of pride in our school and our music department!”
