WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Kindergarten students in Ms. Liani Dillard’s class at Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center recently used science to get to the heart of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s words, "be judge ... by the content of their character."
In class, the students compared and contrasted a large white egg and a large brown egg. The students made predictions about how the inside of the brown egg would look in comparison to the white egg. As they cracked the eggs open and it was revealed that the eggs were the same on the inside, the children looked on in astonishment as they collected data from their experiment.
“This was a lesson they will never forget,” Ms. Dillard said.
