Brownie Troop 61859 Uses Cookie Sale Proceeds to Provide Catered Lunch for Health Care Workers
No doubt it took a lot of sales of their world famous “thin mints” to front the kindness of Wedgwood Elementary School special education teacher Michelle Krueger and her Washington Township Brownie Troop 61859. The troop members decided to use the proceeds of their annual Girl Scout cookie sales to provide a catered lunch for 40 hospital workers at Jefferson Hospital.
The Troop also presented a poster to the workers, spelling out a special message that read:
“Brownie Troop 61859 is in this together. Thank you for your service Jefferson Hospital. We are Jersey Strong.”
