Tickets Available at Door for WTHS’ Remaining Performances of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”

With the recent move to increase capacity limits to 250 under state COVID protocols, community residents will now have an opportunity to take in the Washington Township High School production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in The Playhouse of the school’s 11/12 wing at 7:30 p.m. for the final two scheduled performances.
Approximately 100 tickets remain for each performance on Friday, May 14th and Saturday, May 15th and will be available at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 (cash only).
The audience will be socially distanced, and audience members will be required to wear masks.
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a musical comedy, centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. The 2005 Broadway production won two Tony Awards.
