WTHS P.A.W.S. Club Raises $2,000 to Benefit International Humane Society
Members of the Washington Township High School P.A.W.S. Club (Promoting Animal Welfare Society) is indebted to the school community for its support of the Club’s recent “Paws for Peace” fundraising initiative that raised $2,000 in support of the International Humane Society.
The International Humane Society works around the globe to promote the human-animal bond, rescue and protect dogs and cats, improve farm animal welfare, protect wildlife, promote animal-free testing and research, respond to natural disasters, and confront cruelty to animals in all forms.
“We are appreciative of the cooperation of so many who continue to help us support our P.A.W.S. Mission,” Club advisor Karen LaRosa said.
