A Special Board Award
Washington Township Board of Education Receives Prestigious Carole Lawson Master Board Award
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The Washington Township Board of Education received the Carole Lawson Master Board award at the Gloucester/Camden County School Board Association meeting on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Auletto Caterers. The Washington Township BOE was the only board in the two counties to receive this recognition.
New Jersey School Boards Association Field Service representative Terri Lewis was on hand to speak a room full of superintendents, business administrators, administrators and board members from all over New Jersey about the award, the requirements and the challenges in achieving this distinction. It is a “team” award and requires the participation of seven out of nine board members to meet all criteria.
This is the first time in school history that the Washington Township BOE has received Master Board distinction.
