WTHS Students in Action to Sponsor "TWP Makes the Cut"
Looking for a fresh haircut to end the vacation season and start back to school and work? Washington Township High School’s Students in Action Club has the perfect solution. As part of “TWP Makes the Cut” on August 23rd, community members are who are willing to part with 10 inches or more of hair can receive a free haircut and make a donation to “Locks of Love,” an organization that crafts wigs to benefit patients battling cancer. Volunteers seeking a bolder look can have their heads shaved, with hair donations going to The St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The event will be held from 2 -7 p.m. in the 11/12 new gym.
Students in Action advisors Eisa Jackson and Lindsay Radziak request that participants please sign up in advance so the hairdressers can be prepared with a schedule.
