WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Select members of the Orchard Valley Middle School eighth-grade chorus entertained students on Thursday, February 13th, with singing Valentines.
Under the direction of chorus teacher Mrs. Alyssa Campanini, the students rehearsed their music over the last few weeks and learned three different songs: “I Won’t Give Up”; “Stand By Me”; and “Home.” Any OVMS student could purchase a singing Valentine for a classmate or staff member for $2 and choose the song to be sung.
The lucky recipient was treated to a song and a heart-shaped lollipop during one of their class periods on Thursday. Both students and staff were delighted by the valentines! The annual event supports the OVMS Chorus Club.
