Hurffville and Wedgwood Elementary School ELEMEnTS Students Conceptualize, Create 3-D Projects
An Apple watch charging station, a Philadelphia sports-themed eyeglass holder, a double pot plant holder, a toothbrush holder, an iPad stand and a host of other creative concepts where imagined and produced by Diane Jablonowski’s fifth-grade ELEMEnTS Program students at Hurffville and Wedgwood Elementary Schools during remote learning this spring.
“My students learned computer-aided design skills using Nearpod and Tinkercard,” Jablonowski said. “They mastered the basics of 3-D printing and then set to work designing and editing their original models. Once editing was complete, I printed their models remotely and delivered the models to the students' home mailboxes. They did a great job. It truly was a remote learning success story.”
