WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center kindergarten students in Mrs. Sandy Fitzpatrick’s and Miss Caitlin Rigby’s classes took part in a combined Friendsgiving meeting on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, where they took turns answering review questions about math and literacy.
In Round 1, with literacy assistant Mrs. Dana Crenny asking the questions, students were rewarded for correct answers by having their teacher put a sticker on her face. In Round 2, Mrs. Crenny kept score, and the class with the most points got to decide which teacher would have a pie smashed in their face. In the end, the two classrooms tied, and both Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Miss Rigby got pied!
Between rounds, the classes took dance breaks and just had a good time joining their friends for online fun and learning.
