Fourth-Grade Math Fun
Grant-Funded “Mustang Math Packs” Are Ready to Roll for Wedgwood Elementary School Fourth-Graders
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Thanks to a grant from the Washington Township Education Foundation, something exciting is coming the way of Wedgwood Elementary School's fourth-grade students.
A “Mustang Math Pack” has been prepared for each fourth-grade classroom. The pack is a canvas bag full of math games, challenges, puzzles and much, much more. Each child will be able to bring home the Mustang Math Pack to explore the many math activities it contains.
In the Mustang Math Pack, fourth-graders will find AngLegs to create various polygons, the 24 Game to practice mental math, a picture book to enjoy a math story, Tangrams to learn about geometry and spatial relations, a cookbook to help learn measurement, and dominoes to practice finding equivalent fractions. There are also many other activities for each family to enjoy.
The Mustang Math Pack grant was written by Wedgwood math specialist Domenick Renzi.
