Washington Township Virtual Meet the Candidates Forum Slated for Recording on Thursday, October 15th
The Washington Township PTO Presidents Council will sponsor the 2020 Meet the Candidates Forum. The virtual event will be recorded on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 7 p.m. and will introduce the nine petitioners seeking one of three available three-year terms and for the three petitioners vying for one one-year term on the Washington Township Board of Education.
Though the Forum will not be available for viewing as a live event, it will be recorded in its entirety and shared out within 24 hours of its conclusion on the District website (www.wtps.org) as well as through social media. It also will be replayed on WT-TV (channel 9 on Comcast/channel 36 on Verizon) leading up to the November 3rdelection.
Barbara Kutscher, a LWVNJ-trained moderator and member of the League of Women Voters of Burlington County, will serve as moderator of the event.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, political organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government.

The nine candidates who are seeking three available seats for three-year terms include: Elayne Clancy, Chase Collins, Brian Ellis (incumbent), Kathleen Gallinaro, Julie Kozempel (incumbent), Billy McElroy, James McKeever, Ralph E. Ross and James L. Ticcino.
The three candidates seeking the one available one-year term include: Stacey Dimeo, Laura Din and Cynthia L. Taglienti.
