Whitman Elementary School First Graders Channel Their Inner MLK; Share Their Personal Dreams for the World
You can call them “DiNardo’s Dreamers.” The first-grade students in Connie DiNardo’s class at Whitman Elementary, after learning about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his amazing “I Have a Dream” speech, colored pictures of the Civil Rights leader and shared their own personal dreams for the world in which they hope to grow up.
“I have a dream that Covid and Sickness would go away forever and that there would be a medicine to heal cancer and bad illnesses,” Sloane Boylan shared.
