WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Orchard Valley Middle School celebrated a remarkable milestone: reaching 10,000 Panther Pride Tickets earned for positive behavior and contributions to the school community. To commemorate this achievement, OVMS treated its students to a day of fun and celebration.

The festivities kicked off with a special movie viewing in the morning, complete with delicious snacks generously provided by the OVMS PTO and Regal Theaters. The fun continued outdoors, where the school's dedicated Physical Education teachers organized a variety of engaging and energetic games. Students participated in friendly competitions and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather.

The celebration culminated in a whole-school pep rally held in the gymnasium. The talented OVMS dance team with special staff guests performed to kick off the event. The energy was high as students and staff participated in spirited games, fostering teamwork and school pride.

The Panther Pride program at Orchard Valley Middle School recognizes and rewards students for demonstrating positive character traits. Students earn tickets for displaying Positivity, Respect, Determination, and Excellence, which can then be redeemed for various privileges and rewards throughout the year. Reaching the 10,000-ticket mark signifies the collective commitment of the OVMS student body to upholding these values.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to making Orchard Valley Middle School a positive and supportive place,” OVMS Principal Kayla Berry said. “Reaching 10,000 Pride Tickets is a testament to their outstanding character and commitment to our school community. This celebration was a wonderful way to acknowledge their efforts and have some fun together before heading into Spring Break!”
