WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The Washington Township High School PTO hosted its annual Senior Art Contest as part of District Art Night on April 30, 2025. Art Night attendees placed votes, with 21 WTHS seniors entering pieces into the competition.

Winners of the contest included:
1st Place – "Unrequited Love" in charcoal by Logan Mauz
2nd Place – "Was I ever really there?” in acrylic on canvas by Toby Dorizio
3rd Place – "No way out" in graphite and colored pencil by Logan Mauz

Each senior was permitted to enter up to two pieces into the contest. The PTO will award each of the winners with a monetary gift during the annual senior awards ceremony, and Logan Mauz’s “Unrequited Love” piece will be permanently hung in our third-floor gallery along with past winners of the contest, dating all the way back to 1995.

“We are so proud of all of our artists and every senior who entered their artwork,” WTHS art teacher Christi Serra said. “A huge thank you goes out to the PTO for continuing to support our art department and the young artists here at WTHS.”

Added Visual and Performing Arts supervisor Casey Corigliano: “We are very proud of our talented artists for the work they produced for this year's senior art show. We are most appreciative for the continued support of the PTO to recognize these students and to celebrate the arts in our district.”
