CRMS Humanities Student Creates Tutorial to Assist Peers with Adobe Acrobat’s Signature Feature
Chestnut Ridge Middle School humanities student Elliott Crosby saw his classmates struggling and voluntarily came to their aid – a gesture that no doubt would make the Veterans that his class was responding to proud.
While working in Lori Bathurst’s class on the Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest, an annual essay submission process hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars , Crosby saw the frustration that his peers were having using Adobe Acrobat’s signature feature that was required for their submission and decided to create a tutorial video. The video will be shared will all CRMS social studies.
“I am so proud of Elliott for his willingness to use his technology skills to help his peers and support the Patriot’s Penn contest,” Bathurst said. “This act was a real example of Elliott’s support of service and his willingness to contribute to his community. Indirectly, he is making it easier for students to participate in the Patriot’s Pen essay contest, which spreads patriotism and lets our Veterans know how much they are appreciated.”
