Team TWP Does it Again!
“Teachers with Pedals” Cycling Team Raises More than $13,000 in Annual MS Ride: City to Shore

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The Washington Township “Teachers with Pedals” (Team TWP) cycling team continued its tradition by having a successful ride and fundraising effort for the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride 2019.
Team TWP, which consists of current and former Washington Township Public Schools teachers, plus family and friends, raised $13,467.54 for the MS Society and to purchase jerseys for new team members. More than $2,400 of that money was provided directly by WTPS staff through a dress-down day and other donations. Team TWP smashed through its goal of $11,000 raised.
“We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their kindness, support and generosity,” team co-captain Deanna Ettore said.

Special acknowledgement goes to: Rookie riders Kathy Saia, Capasso, Debbie Saia and Finkelstein; Schoch, Burkhart and Staffieri for completing the Century Ride (100 miles); and Eckley for completing the full 175-mile route.
