The Washington Township Public Schools’ Department of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) will host its Inaugural Convening “Creating, Centering, and Sustaining Equity” on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at Washington Township High School.  The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.

The Convening will provide leading educators in New Jersey an opportunity to present their work in these crucial areas and to engage in meaningful dialogue on issues such as race, social justice, neurodiversity, women’s health, dis/ability, allyship, and other concerns currently at the center of equity discussions in the State’s PreK-12 educational system.

Attendees will have an opportunity to seek out various employment opportunities through a career fair that will coincide with the forum.
