WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The Gloucester County School Boards Association proudly celebrates the outstanding participation of Aurelia Mattera of Chestnut Ridge Middle School, Isabella Rippert of Bunker Hill Middle School, and Aubree Longwell of Orchard Valley Middle School at the annual Eighth-Grade Dialogue event. Held on March 6, 2025, at Paulsboro High School, this event provided a platform for exceptional students to engage in meaningful discussions about the future of education.
Each year, middle schools throughout Gloucester County select one eighth-grade student to represent their school and contribute to the dialogue. These students are recognized within their school communities as inquisitive, actively involved, and passionate agents of change. This year, Aurelia, Isabella, and Aubree demonstrated these qualities with distinction.
During the event, the students shared their perspectives on the current status of education, offered insightful ideas for improving school climate and culture initiatives, and discussed their vision for the future of learning. Their thoughtful contributions reflected a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing their schools and the broader educational landscape.
