District Announces Viewing Options for WTHS Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony
Families and friends of graduates of the Washington Township High School Class of 2019, who cannot be in attendance at the graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 7 p.m., can access the District’s YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/wttvproductions) to watch the festivities live. The broadcast will mirror the video and audio feed that also is being broadcast live on WT-TV (Channel 9 Comcast/Channel 36 Verizon).
The extended school community also can access graduation ceremonies live from any device via the NFHS Network (https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/washington-township-high-school-sewell-nj). The feed from the stadium will originate from a fixed, mounted camera.
Both platforms will provide live viewing options whether the ceremony is staged, as planned, from Tom Brown Field in the WTHS Stadium, or from the Investors Bank Performing Arts Center should inclement weather move the ceremony inside.
“In addition to the access that we have historically provided through WT-TV, we are proud to offer the option, for the first time, of accessing WTHS graduation through these media platforms,” Superintendent of Schools Joe Bollendorf said. “Utilizing this technology gives that many more people access to one of our most celebratory, defining and cherished events.”
