I am delighted and honored to continue my educational leadership journey as Principal of Whitman Elementary School. As I step into this role, I am filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility to uphold the school’s rich commitment to academic excellence. I have been an employee of the Washington Township school district for over 20 years, as well as a graduate of Washington Township High School. I continued my education at Stockton University, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. I pursued my Master’s in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification from Rowan University. I found a passion for leadership, so I returned to school and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Wilmington University. I am a lifelong learner and am committed to the staff and students in Washington Township.

I am thankful for the Whitman Elementary community for their continued support of their children. Our mission at Whitman Elementary School has always been to help our students become critical thinkers, effective problem solvers, good communicators, and to obtain the necessary skills required to continue their education and eventually enter the work force. Our focus is on developing character in our students to help them be responsible, civic-minded, and motivated individuals. My priority is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that fosters each student’s holistic development.

I am committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our students at Whitman. We will continue to implement measures to promote a school culture that prioritizes kindness, empathy, and understanding.

Our highly qualified, caring, and trained staff members work tirelessly to deliver instruction that is infused with technology, differentiated to address various learning styles, and content rich curricula.  Our faculty and staff participate in regular, high-quality professional development opportunities that focus on the current trends in education.

As we embark on your child’s educational journey, I invite all parents/guardians to be actively involved in their child’s education. Your support and encouragement play a crucial role in their academic progress and personal growth. Together, we will build a strong partnership that nurtures and empowers our students to reach their full potential.

    Warm Regards,
