Target Grants Fund Two Field Trips for WTHS AP Environmental Science Students

Washington Township High School Advanced Placement Environmental Science students took advantage of funding provided through grants from Target to venture off campus during two recent field trips.

Along with teacher Constantinos Tsoukalis, the students traveled to the Gloucester County Municipal Authority’s wastewater treatment plant, the Washington Township Municipal Authority water tower and Duffield’s farm to learn more about water usage and treatment.

The second trip brought the class to the Public Service Electric and Gas (PSEG) Energy and Resource Center where the students toured the nuclear power plant and restored marshes.
