Washington Township High School Students Earn Spots on All-State Choirs

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Congratulations go out to 10 Washington Township High School students who recently were accepted into the All-State Choruses for the 2024-25 school year. The students auditioned against other high school choir students throughout the state of New Jersey and were deemed to be some of the very best.

 

The WTHS selections included:

 

All-State Mixed Chorus – Mia D’Ostilio, Alicia Fallon, Riley Holmes, Sofia Rohanna, Sonya Tereshko, and Presley Terch. They will perform in November 2024 during the New Jersey Education Association teacher convention in Atlantic City.

 

All-State Treble Chorus – Annabelle Corigliano, Adrianna Elliot, Briana Millar, and Haylie Strafella. They will perform in February 2025 during the New Jersey Music Educators Association Conference in Atlantic City.

 

Both groups will have a second performance at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. 

  

“It is always an honor to see our students not only auditioning for Region and State music ensembles, but for so many of our students to be accepted, it is a deep sense of pride in our school and our music department!” said Amy Melson, the WTHS Choir Director.
