Presidents Council to Host Meet the Candidates Night
The Washington Township Presidents Council will sponsor the 2022 Meet the Candidates Forum, moderated by Janet Fisher Hughes from the League of Women’s Voters in Camden County, in the Eileen Abbott Central Administration Board Room (206 E. Holly Avenue in Sewell, NJ) on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 7 p.m.
The event will introduce the 11 petitioners seeking five available seats on the Washington Township Board of Education.
Candidates will field questions posed by interested Washington Township residents in attendance at the forum. The program will be taped in its entirety and aired on WT-TV (channel 9 on Comcast/channel 36 on Verizon) in the weeks preceding the November 8th school board election.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, political organization whose purpose is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government.
The following candidates are seeking seats on the Washington Township Board of Education:
