WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Washington Township High School students Briana Millar, Haylie Strafella, and Adrianna Elliott recently represented the high school at New Jersey All-State Treble concerts held the weekend of February 20-23, 2025. The auditions for these ensembles took place last spring, and these concerts were the culmination of the All-State program for this school year.
Selected students rehearsed in Atlantic City and gave a performance during the N.J. Music Educators Conference on Saturday, February 22nd, and followed that up with a second concert at the N.J. Performing Arts Center in Newark on Sunday, February 23rd. Conductor Amanda Hanzlik and Collaborative Pianist Shawn Kirchner worked with the students Thursday through Sunday.
“Congratulations to Briana, Haylie, and Adrianna for proudly representing WTHS at the All-State Treble concert this year,” Washington Township Visual and Performing Arts Supervisor Casey Corigliano said. “It was wonderful to see and hear them perform with the ‘best of the best’ in the state at the NJMEA conference. We are very proud of their accomplishments and wish them continued success in their musical endeavors.”
