Dear Grenloch Terrace Family,       

As a long-time educator and more recently Supervisor of Elementary Special Education in Washington Township, I am honored to serve as your child’s first principal.  I have had the pleasure to work as a supervisor at Grenloch school and was truly impressed by the dedication and commitment each and every staff member has regarding early childhood education.  I intend to keep Grenloch’s mission one of my top priorities.  Grenloch’s vision is to provide your child with a basic foundation, self-confidence and a love of learning to be successful in today's ever-changing society.

This is the time when children’s minds are most impressionable and I believe it is our job as educators to give them the foundation they need to grow.  I often relate children at this age to being like a flower.  Growing at their own rate and pace, each needing different tools to help them to reach their full potential.  At Grenloch we believe that each child's education should be an exciting journey, not a race.

Upon entering Grenloch you will find that we strive to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all children to grow and learn.  Additionally we value and respect all individuals within our community; children, parents, teachers, staff members and administration.  We believe that a partnership between home, school and community provides an important foundation for our students as they begin school.

Above all I look forward to being the first part of your child’s lifelong journey in education.
