Damaged/LostBooks

Responsibility is an important skill our students need to learn. It is their responsibility to remember to return their library books each week. It is also their responsibility to take care of the library books. Please help your child to learn these skills by reminding them to return their books each week and treat the books properly.

If a book is damaged or lost, the school district's policy is that the child will be fined the replacement cost of the item. Your child may not check out another book until the damaged/lost book is paid for or returned. Please send either cash or a check made out to Bells School for the replacement cost of the book. If a book is returned damaged, we will send a notice home with the replacement cost.
