Hurffville Second Graders Parade Through Hallways in Celebration of Chinese New Year

To welcome in the Year of the Rabbit, Hurffville Elementary second-grade students paraded through the school’s hallways on January 31st, wearing hand-crafted hats, carrying paper lanterns and playing drums and cymbals in a rhythmic procession celebrating the start of the Chinese New Year.

Hurffivlle second graders Samantha Ball, Angeline Basile, and David Budesa brought the joy and wishes of prosperity and luck, that are celebrated in the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit,  to their classmates during a parade through the hallways on January 31st.
