WTPS Choral Students Perform with All-South Jersey  Junior and Senior High Choruses

Twenty-three choral students from the Washington Township Public Schools performed with the All-South Jersey Junior and Senior High Choruses during performances hosted at Republic Bank Performing Arts Center at Washington Township High School on January 28, 2023, and January 29, 2023. The Senior High Chorus was conducted by WTHS Class of 2000 alumnus, former Orchard Valley Middle School and WTHS Choir Director and current WTHS Assistant Principal Joseph Zachowski.

“We are proud of our District’s choral students for achieving this honor at the regional level,” District Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts Casey Corigliano said. “As a result of the hard work of our students, and the dedication of our chorus directors who prepared them, Washington Township had a very healthy representation in this year’s South Jersey honor choirs. Additionally, we are very excited to host this festival and are humbled to have one of our own, Joseph Zachowski, to lead the Senior High Chorus. This is a tremendous honor for all our students, current and alumni, and we thank everyone for the support of the Performing Arts here at Washington Township.”
