Health Office
It is necessary for us to have a fully completed emergency card on every student. Please be sure to list at least two emergency contacts. Notify us if there are changes in any of the numbers during the year. This will allow for better communication in the event of an emergency.
No prescriptions or over the counter medications, including cough drops and Chapstick, may be used in school without a written doctor’s order. This policy will be strictly followed.
If your child is going to be absent, you must call the Health Office at 589-7936. We have 24 hour voice mail. When leaving a message, state your child’s name, teacher, and the reason for the absence. If you are requesting homework, you must call 218-0957 and then the teacher’s four digit extension.
If your child arrives after 9:00 a.m., he/she must report to the Main Office to obtain a late pass.
When you wish to have an early dismissal for your child, a note needs to be sent to the classroom teacher. If you must pick up your child unexpectedly, we ask that you call the Health Office at 589-7936 before coming to the school. This gives us the opportunity to advise the teacher and allow your child to prepare to leave school early. When you arrive at the school, go to the main office. Your child will then be called out of class.
If you have any questions, please give me a call at 589-7936. It is a pleasure taking care of your children!
