All elementary school children will have their height,
weight, and blood pressure taken annually.
Kindergarten and 2nd grades have vision and hearing screening completed
1st and 3rd grades have hearing screening completed
4th grade has vision screening completed
5th grade only has vision/hearing screening if needed. Scoliosis screening is done in the Spring for all 5th grade students.
Of course, if anyone needs additional screening, just contact the nurse. A
referral letter will be sent home to the parent if a child fails 2 consecutive
screenings , for further followup with your dr. Please contact the nurse for any questions or concerns.
