WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The Bunker Hill Middle School Student Council proudly sponsored Autism Awareness Day on Wednesday, April 2nd, bringing students together for a meaningful and fun-filled event. During each lunch period, students were treated to refreshing water ice while Student Council members spoke to their classmates about autism, sharing important facts and promoting understanding and inclusivity.
After lunch, every student received a bubble wand and headed outside to enjoy fresh air and uplifting music. Laughter and excitement filled the air as students joyfully blew bubbles in honor of autism awareness, creating a colorful and heartwarming display of support. The sight of hundreds of bubbles floating in the breeze made the moment even more special.
The event was a fantastic experience for the BHMS Bulldogs, filled with fun, learning, and a shared commitment to celebrating differences. It was a day to remember and a reminder that kindness and inclusion make our school community stronger.
