Music 

First through Fifth grade students come to Music class once each week. Each year we build upon the knowledge of notes and methods learned during the previous year.

First and Second grade students learn through dances, games, stories and songs.

Third graders learn an instrument, the songflute. After learning how to play all of the notes and several songs, they will take their flutes home.

Fourth and Fifth grade students learn the Social Studies background of many of the songs, as well as some Language Arts connections with their new Reading Series.

All classes sing and play instruments during General Music class.
