    "Teen Librarian by Appointment"This program is for grades 6-12 for academic help, particularly with improving research, using the library's offerings, test taking skills, and writing skills. Timeslots are available Monday - Wednesday by appointment only in the teen area. Contact the teen librarian (me) for an appointment other than what is already available through our online registration for Wednesday afternoons. The middle school students I've worked with recently have been looking for help writing paragraphs about current events and informative compositions. We meet in the teen area, had discussions on the phone (ext 224), or we have simply corresponded through emails. (Whichever works best!) 

    Of note: Starting in September we're going to try having Teen & Tween Tuesdays. We'll do a rotation of writing club, book club, game time, and crafts where all of the activities fall on Tuesday evenings.
