WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Washington Township High School’s National Art Honor Society (NAHS) will host its annual NAHS District K-12 Art Show on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the WTHS Core building (529 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, Sewell). The night’s theme is “Love eARTh: Earth without art is just ‘eh.’”
Highlights of the evening include:
- Various studio demonstrations in ceramics, photography and drawing.
- A special art competition, in conjunction with the Washington Township Environmental Commission, with award certificates given to students in Grades Kindergarten to 2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12. The theme for the competition is Art and Our Environment, highlighting the beauty of the environs of Washington Township, saving our planet, recycling and sustainability.
- Fine art and craft objects for sale.
