Our Mission:

The Mission of the Washington Township Public Schools Office of DEIB is to support an inclusive school culture by promoting institutional beliefs, policies, practices, and teaching strategies that disrupt disparities in achievement across groups of students.

The Mission of the Washington Township Public Schools Equity Council Is to Support the Office of Deib by Identifying Inequities Within District Practices and Developing Strategies with Proposed Solutions to Mitigate Those Inequities Through Collaboration with the Washington Township School District Staff, Administration, and Board of Education.

The joint Vision of the Washington Township Public Schools Office of DEIB and Equity Council is for all students, staff, and community members to have a voice in and feel part of the school community, providing them a safe and engaging environment in which to foster learning, experience growth, and enjoy a sense of belonging.
