Chestnut Ridge Middle School Set to Present Fall Play Ladies of the Jury This Thursday through Saturday
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Chestnut Ridge Middle School will host its annual fall play, Ladies of the Jury, this Thursday through Saturday, December 6-8, 2018. Each show begins at 7 p.m., and tickets will be available at the door for $7.
The show takes place in a small town, where a jury is selected and a murder trial is held. The proceedings are amusingly interrupted from time to time by Mrs. Crane, an eccentric juror. When the jurors retire to deliberate, the first ballot shows that Mrs. Crane is the lone “not guilty” vote. She has her own theories and will not give in, knowing that capitulation means sending an innocent woman to her death. Two days (and two acts) pass in the jury room, as Mrs. Crane has uses unorthodox means to change minds.
The show is directed by Mr. Robert Scardino.
