Wedgwood Elementary School Teacher’s Therapy Dogs Visits Classroom for Interactive Experience

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Wedgwood Elementary School students in Mrs. Lisa Warrington’s class recently had the opportunity to meet and interact with Warrington’s dog, Russell. Russell is a certified therapy dog – and Warrington’s husband, Chris, is a certified handler – through the Alliance for Therapy Dogs.

The students had the opportunity to read to Russell, pet him, give him treats and do some tricks with it. Everyone – two- and four-legged, alike – had an enjoyable experience.
