Birches Elementary School Highlights “Unity Day” By Giving the School Building a Hug
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Birches Elementary School celebrated its own Unity Day on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. The Birches staff and student body all wore orange in their own show of unity. Then, in the morning, the Birches community connected hands and lined up around the entire building to “hug the school.”
The Birches universal message was one of preventing bullying and uniting for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
