Getting the Wall of Fame Treatment
Wedgwood Elementary School Inducts Six New Members onto First in Math Wall of Fame
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – It only took one marking period for six students at Wedgwood Elementary School to earn spots on the school’s First in Math Wall of Fame. To earn induction onto the Wall of Fame, a student must earn more than 10,000 stickers while using First in Math to become a “Grand Champion.”
First in Math is an online program utilized by students in grades one through four that uses the power of digital gaming to build math skills. Online practice reinforces a range of proficiencies, from addition to complex algebra. Setting and achieving goals, as well as a friendly competition component, keeps students energized to sustain accelerated effort over time.
Congratulations to the following Wedgwood School students who have made the First in Math Wall of Fame: (pictured above from upper left, clockwise): Brianna Rainey (grade 5), Mason Hatton (grade 5), Tyler Anderson (grade 3), Andrew Bauer (grade 3), Vincent Nuzzo (grade 3), and Hannah Chen (grade 1).
