Four Washington Township Board of Education Members Sworn in on January 5th

The Washington Township Board of Education welcomed back Board President Julie Kozempel, who was re-elected to a three-year term, and three new members during a swearing in on January 5, 2021, at the Board’s annual reorganization meeting. Board Solicitor Joe Betley presided over the swearing in. Community members Elayne Clancy and Kathleen Gallinaro each were appointed to three-year terms as first-time Board members. Stacey DiMeo joins the Board for a one-year term. 

 

The Board voted unanimously to retain the leadership of Kozempel as Board President. Dr. Shawnequa Carvalho was elected as Board Vice President.
