Community Member Natalie Beury Sworn In as Newest Member of Washington Township Board of Education
The Washington Township Board of Education welcomed its newest member during a swearing in at its July 19th meeting, ushering in community member Natalie Beury to the nine-member Board. Beury assumes the seat vacated by former Board of Education member Ray Dinovi and will serve until December 31, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Washington Township and a 1995 graduate of Washington Township High School, Beury is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She has worked for more than 20 years in the Rowan University Division of Finance in various roles including accounting, sponsored projects, and fiscal operations. In her current role, Beury is the University’s Budget Director, overseeing fiscal operations for multiple colleges and schools.
Beury has been active with Washington Township Youth Cheerleading for the past eight years as a coach and board member and has been a dedicated member of the parent teacher organization at Birches Elementary. She and her husband, James, are the parents of Matthew and Samantha, who will be attending Bunker Hill Middle School and Washington Township High School, respectively, this fall.
