Palazzi

The Washington Township Board of Education has approved the appointment of Alisa Palazzi as elementary supervisor.  Palazzi will assume the vacant role of supervisor Samantha Dulude, who is currently serving as interim principal at Hurffville Elementary.  Beginning October 6th and with the retirement of elementary supervisor Beth Hinman, Palazzi will move into this position, servicing Hurffville and Wedgwood Elementary Schools.

Palazzi comes to Washington Township following a stint as the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction for the Little Egg Harbor School District where she has provided leadership to kindergarten through sixth grade teachers across all of the subject areas. She has experience teaching at the elementary and middle school levels. She also served many years as a literacy coach.

“Alisa’s vast experience with developing authentic curricula, designing instruction for diverse learners, and delivering professional development are all key strengths she possesses for this position,” Director of Elementary Education Gretchen Gerber said. “Her expansive knowledge of curriculum and instruction and using data to drive instruction will be an asset to Washington Township Public Schools.”

Palazzi currently holds the following NJ certifications: Supervisor, Reading Specialist, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and Elementary Education (K-5).
