Birches Elementary School PTO Hosts 49th Annual Craft Fair

Birches PTO members sell goodies at the craft fair baked good tables.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – The Birches Elementary School PTO celebrated its 49th annual Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the Washington Township High School 9/10 wing. 

More than 100 crafters filled two gyms and the cafeteria, selling their homemade craft items to large crowd looking to purchase their favorite items in support of the Birches students and PTO. 

The day included hundreds of baked goods for sale, raffles every hour, pretzel/water/coffee tables, volunteers from Bunker Hill Middle School earning their service hours, and even a guest appearance by Birches mascot Benny the Bengal.

Birches math teacher and Craft Fair Organizer Paul Rodrigo is joined by Benny the Bengal to officially open the fair.
