Wedgwood Elementary School Drama Club Presents “The Grunch – A New Children’s Musical”

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – On Wednesday, June 5th, the Wedgwood Elementary School Drama Club put on two performances of “The Grunch - A New Children's Musical.” In the morning, they performed for their fellow students, and later that night they put on the show for family and friends to see. 

Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” The Grunch tells the story of Ruby Grunch, a grumpy fifth-grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, she comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone: she’ll steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens. But will the spirit of theatre prevail?

The Wedgwood Drama Club is led by teachers Hope Urso and Regina Nigro.
