Seventh-Grader Ada Marano Named Winner of 2025 Washington Township Middle School Idol Competition

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Bunker Hill Middle School seventh-grader Ada Marano showcased her talents and was named winner of the Washington Township Middle School Idol competition, held on Friday, January 31, 2025. Ada sang “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence in the first round to secure first place in the seventh-grade age group. In the finals, she competed against the sixth-grade winner Audriana Elmer and eighth-grade winner Meddie Joy Tuckey, both also from Bunker Hill. Ada emerged as the winner with her rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Crazy Dreams.”
For winning the Middle School Idol competition, Ada has earned a solo spotlight in the Washington Township High School Pop Experience concert on February 13, 2025.
In the sixth-grade age group, Charlotte Thomas (BHMS) was named first runner up, and Victoria Tracy (OVMS) was second runner up.
In the seventh-grade age group, Samantha Waddington (BHMS) was named first runner up, and Julia DiSanto (OVMS) was second runner up.
In the eighth-grade age group, Ella Martynick (OVMS) was named first runner up, and Laylah Farrell (CRMS) was second runner up.
Special thanks go out to the hosts, WTHS Choir members Annabelle Corigliano and Jeanine Specht, the 2024 T Middle School Idol winner Luciana DiVenti, and the WTHS a cappella groups Momentum and Dynamics for their participation in the event.
